Where are we heading to?

Welcome back after a long long time. I am updating my blog after a very long time for various reasons, and I apologize to my viewers (if at all there exist/remain any) for it. Since the last time I wrote my article world has changed a lot, and yet the time seems to have passed very quickly. More bad news and more doom is coming at a much faster pace everyday. I will talk about the trends in two fields in this post : economy and health.

Beginning with economy, there has been a lot of news lately, since the last "bottom" of the stock markets in March; mostly bad and rarely good. Stock market has been rising consistently; so consistently that it seems to be obviously manipulated for various reasons. People have been waiting to see such 30% rises in stock markets (in Dow specifically) for many months together, and yet here we have the market rising to such levels within a month, that too in a weakened world economy as it is now. Something doesn't seem right here. Anyway, the stock markets do not reflect the condition of the real economy; at least no more because of all these manipulations and inside corruptions of the wall street oligarchs. The real economy is still very much struggling to move forward. Unemployment is increasing - though increasing at a slower pace - and manufacturing sectors (which represent the real economy) are still under losses. In the US, their two biggest auto-manufacturing companies Chrysler and GM are in a deep mess, and struggling to come out of it, with former already having filed bankruptcy and given up and the latter expecting to do the same sooner or later. But amidst all these losses and economic recession, one could always hear news in the mainstream media (MSM) about how the economy is "recovering". Its a sham certainly. They are trying to re-activate the normal market by improving the consumer and investor confidence, but they are doing so on false promises and therefore, it will inevitably end up with the economy falling more deeper.

Recently there have been bad news for the economy of many countries. Japanese economy shrank by a record 15.6 %, Mexican economy shrank by 8.2%, Taiwanese economy shrank by 10.24%, and the European economy shrank by 2.5% (combined). Once the economies start shrinking, it takes a lot of time for them to come back to their progressive tracks again. USA always dominated the world trade because of its dollar being the reserve currency, but now even this status of dollar is being threatened because of the latest trends. Russia has dumped the dollar for Euro as a reserve currency. China too has been doing the same for some time now, although gradually and silently to evade any attention. China overtook US as the largest trader with Brazil, and they have even agreed to dump the dollar to trade in their own currencies. These trends are not good for the USA, and whats worse is that USA is supposed to be a military superpower. Everyone knows that USA will never pay back all its debt to China and Japan and its other creditors, because there is no way it can. There is only one way for it to come out of all this mess - war. With the current trends of international relations and trade, if there is a war in the near future then I wouldn't surprised at all. What happens when you have all the weapons of mass destruction in your backyard with the young men sitting idle with no jobs? Moreover, this is an easier way for the US to get rid of all its debt, instead of paying it for decades.

Another trend that has been gaining momentum in the world is that of swine flu (characterized by the H1N1 strain). It all began with the news about many people dying of a strange disease in Mexico, and within the first few days the numbers given by the media ran into thousands. There was a huge alert everywhere, initially in Mexico and US and later in other parts of the world, with even quarantine measures also taken on the victims. But later in the next week, the MSM tried to contain the panic by radically reducing their statistical data of the number of infected and number of deaths due to this disease. From the initial report of some 150 people being dead due to the disease, it was reduced to only around 30. Similarly, the number of infected was also reduced for the next week. And yet, WHO raised the pandemic level till 5. UK ordered some 92 million vaccines (even with almost no death there or cases of infection in the first week), and all the countries in the world were advised by the WHO to be more cautious about the spreading of this disease. Weeks went by, and the death toll was still not as much as expected for any pandemic of level 5. With not more than 3 deaths in the US, their government had been showing immense concerns over this flu which was supposed to have been 'contained already'. Something really looked fishy here to me. Consider this fact, around 36000 Americans die every year because of normal flu alone, and here we have just 2-3 deaths in a whole month and yet the government and other health organizations going frenzy? It was during this time that a news emerged out of nowhere and disappeared again within no time. But this was very important. A certain Australian virologist named Adrian Gibbs had quoted that this disease could have originated in a laboratory - that is, it was man-made. WHO too expressed doubt that it could have spread because of some laboratory error. But immediately this news was downplayed by the MSM and people forgot about it. All this while, WHO and CDC (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, US) had been issuing warning to the people that the second wave of H1N1 could be much more disastrous. Was it to justify their initial frenzy? Or is it really true? Whatever is the case. But there is certainly some conspiracy.

After this initial alert, the panic related to this disease suddenly disappeared with no MSM reporting it or at least under-reporting it. The manipulated stock market rally was also another reason why the attention of the people got diverted easily. Everything appeared to have been normal again and people almost forgot about this swine flu. But suddenly again CDC comes back to express their speculation that "100000 people could be suffering from the swine flu in the US". WTF? From a few cases of infection here and there, to suddenly such a large number? But more recently, they reduced the number further again and are now claiming that only around 10,000 could be suffering from this in America. This is still a huge number nevertheless. Meanwhile in Japan, only a few people were suspected of being infected with H1N1, but the next day the Japanese government confirmed of around 80 being infected, and next day to that they updated the number to aroun 150! Thats insane. Anyway, the Japanese government took immediate action and around 3000 schools were closed and people were asked to be wary of any flu like symptoms.
Could it be that the second wave that WHO was talking about already has begun? We'll have to wait and watch. When the government becomes too big and corrupt to influence anything, then one can be sure that the MSM is controlled by them and it could also be just a tool to spread disinformation or spread propaganda or just hide the truth.

Besides this swine flu, other diseases are also seeming to gain pace in different parts of the world. In Vishakapatnam in Andhra, there was a spread of Anthrax detected a few weeks ago (with a total of 11 deaths then), but there was no news of it after that. Meanwhile somewhere else in Andhra, there has been an outbreak of cholera due to contaminated water, but even that hasn't been updated as yet. There are other diseases infecting people in different parts of the world too.
60 people have been found infected of some mysterious disease in Nepal with all of them having similar symptoms. 450 people have been quanrantined in one of Malaysia's military training camp of Mengitis. Two Egyptian boys have been confirmed today of having died due to bird flu. This is important because of the forewarning by the WHO of the catastrophic outbreak if the bird flu strain mixes with this swine flu.

Anyway, the most intriguing cases of disease don't seem to be in humans as much as they are ocurring in animals. In the first week of May, some 1600 chickens, pigs and goats were found dead of some mysterious reasons, which was later considered to be swine fever (not flu), in Maharashtra (India). 800 chickens have died mysteriously at Nawalpur in Sarlahi district of Nepal. On 17 May 2009, the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture announced that the National Avian Influenza Reference Laboratory had confirmed avian influenza among migratory birds in Qinghai province. Many wild birds were reported to have been died as a result of this.
Considering the above trends, it seems that disease is going to be in the news in future. So people need to be more careful about it.

Last but not least, I'll point to the climate and environmental changes that are important for new. The most important is the inactivity of Sun's solar storms which has been going on for quite some time now. This should result in global cooling, and yet the scientists are talking about global warming. Perhaps both of them by compensate and cancel each other's effects. Whatever might be the case (I am not expert in this field), one thing is for sure, our Earth's climate is changing faster every year. Its been too hot in several areas this summer, and the monsoon seems to be coming earlier. Still, the climatic changes are not as significant in changing mankind as are the global trends in economy and diseases.
